Get ready for a week of fun at our multi activity sports camp! Students can expect to take part in various activities such as team sports like football, basketball to visiting the SuperPark for a multitude of activities!

Drama and Musical theatre workshops will enhance creativity and improve social and communication skills through drama games basic script writing and staging of skits to be performed at the end of a session. Exploring extracts from junior productions of classics Broadway shows will help the students to increase self esteem and confidence while giving insight into different cultures through various performance styles.

Exploring a world of adventure in junior musical theatre such as the ” Pirates of Penzance”.

A dead body has been reported! In this fun forensic science program, fans of the videogame Among Us will try their hand at scientific crime-solving and develop their skills of observation, problem solving, communication, critical thinking and collaboration as they decipher secret messages, identify mysterious powders, lift fingerprints, and discover the mysteries of DNA and heredity! Who is the Imposter? Red looks kinda sus, but Orange has no alibi…

C.S.I.’s will have a ton of fun learning about fingerprints and their role in crime-solving, forensic chemistry and chemical reactions, heredity & DNA, the pros and cons of eyewitness testimony, and more!

Celebration of Nations: Lego Robotics – Star Wars

Instructor: Kids Discovery Works

Unleash your child’s creativity with robotics! In this fun introduction to robotics and programming, kids will travel to a galaxy far, far away and learn how to design and program progressively more challenging robots using Lego WeDo 2.0. Young engineers will also discover how to use motors, sensors and other attachments to make their robots perform specific tasks. Whether they are designing starfighters or programming droids to compete missions, kids will have a blast mastering new skills and bringing their creations to life!

Adventure Land: Whizz, Pop, Bang!

Embark on an exciting exploration of physics and chemistry with engaging hands-on experiments that promise ooey-gooey, fizzy fun! Young scientists will have a blast discovering phase changes (with dry ice!), exploring the secrets of non-Newtonian fluids and polymers (with oobleck and slime!), engineering with the forces of aerodynamics (with stomp rockets!), and so much more!

Adventure Land: Lego Robotics – Jurassic World

Instructor: Kids Discovery Works

In this introductory workshop, young engineers will explore the fundamentals of robotics and programming with Lego WeDo 2.0. Through experimentation, they will discover how robot motion is realized and learn how to build robots with walking mechanisms, how to increase force with levers and gears, and worked with motion and tilt sensors. Integrating multiple subject skills, students will learn to analyze Lego construction challenges, elaborate qualitative and quantitative criteria and constraints, and to break large problems down into smaller ones using acquired knowledge, skills, and creativity.

Climate Warriors: Superhero Science

Loki is leading an army of Frost Giants to invade Earth! As our best and brightest S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent, you have been selected to help the Avengers in battle. Accompany the Avengers and help them to complete their missions. Clear blocked passageways, defeat enemy drones, distract and destroy Frost Giants… Earth depends on you! S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents will learn science and engineering concepts as they complete fun and engaging STEM missions. Kids will have a great time creating “explosive” chemical reactions, discovering Newton’s 3rd Law (with water rockets!), engineering DIY crossbows to experiment with projectile trajectory, and more!

Climate Warriors: LEGO Robotics – Obstacle Marathon

Instructor: Kids Discovery Works

It’s a robot Olympics! In this fun robotics camp, young engineers will be challenged to build, program and test a robot that can overcome multiple obstacles. Students will work in teams and integrate multiple subject skills as they learn to break down and analyse problems and devise plans to creatively overcome challenges. As they pit their bots against each other on various task-based challenges, students will learn engineering and programming using LEGO WeDo 2.0 and Mindstorms EV3 technology.

Mission Impossible: Doomsday – Earth Rescue

Instructor: Kids Discovery Works

A massive asteroid has collided with our Moon, knocking it out of its normal orbit and precipitating a series of natural disasters on Earth! In this exciting STEM program, students will race against time to save the world from a series of catastrophic events. Taught by a real-life geologist and volcanologist, students will discover the science behind some of the most devastating natural disasters on our planet through fun, hands-on experiments and engaging STEM challenges. Students will have a blast learning all about volcanoes and saving their city from volcanic hazards, experimenting with seismometers and engineering skyscrapers to withstand a violent earthquake, discovering the relationship between climate change and hurricanes, building a “cyclone” and more!

Mission Impossible: LEGO Robotics – Battlebots!

In this fun introduction to robotics, kids will learn how to design and program progressively more challenging robots using LEGO WeDo 2.0 or Mindstorms EV3. Young engineers will discover how to use motors, sensors and attachments to make their robots perform specific tasks. The camp will culminate in a final competition where kids will battle their bots in the ring…sumo-style!
